COMMUTER DECISION-MAKING EXPERIMENT
Studying Decision Processes with Environmental and Energy Use Impacts
Thank you for your interest in the study
Researchers at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and UC Berkeley are conducting an experiment on how people make decisions about the transportation options they take for their regular commute to work or school each day, and are looking for participants like yourself!
You will need to be able to commute up to 5 times in one month by BART (though the choice to do so is up to you), install and use a mobile app that provides GPS data to the researchers to verify that commute, and participate in two sets of surveys (the first set taking approximately 1 to 1.5 hours in total, and the second one month later taking approximately 20 minutes) that ask you to make decisions and discuss your personal attitudes, habits, and characteristics. You could be paid between $30 and $120, depending on your responses to the questionnaires and commute patterns during the study.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST. RECRUITMENT FOR THE STUDY IS NOW CLOSED.
